Process

We believe that true sustainability is creating timeless essentials that you can return to season after season. By limiting the amount of new styles we create each year and samples produced, we aim to reduce waste throughout our product development process.

We are proud to produce Pali Swim locally in Los Angeles, California. Not only does this cut down on the carbon impact of overseas shipping, it makes it way easier for us to ensure our swimwear is made with aloha.

Materials

Our core fabric is a recycled nylon made with 100% regenerated polyamide fiber from post-consumer materials like old fishing nets and fabric scraps. This recycled fabric is not only chlorine and oil resistant, but it also offers UPF 50+ protection. Find out more about Econyl here.

Our Linen pieces use GOTS-certified linen and abalone shell buttons and natural dyes, making the Pali Pocket Shirt 100% biodegradable.

Our Sandy Shorts are made using SEAQUAL®YARN - a high quality 100% post-consumer recycled polyester yarn containing MARINE PLASTIC from SEAQUAL INITIATIVE- a  community of individuals, organizations and companies working together to help clean our oceans, raise awareness of the issue of marine litter and highlight those helping to fight it.

Our cotton/nylon blend pieces are made using deadstock fabric.

We also use compostable packaging where possible and recycled/ recyclable materials where it’s not yet.
